Camden County Residents Encouraged to Take Action during Severe Weather Preparedness Week

The GA Emergency Management Agency (GEMA) has declared Feb. 5-9, 2018, to be Severe Weather Preparedness Week and Camden County EMA urges all Camden County citizens to take time to learn about possible severe weather threats and how to prepare for them.

“We want to encourage all Camden County residents to plan and prepare for severe weather,” said EMA Director Chuck White. “It is important for everyone to take proactive steps to ensure the safety of you and your family.”

This week, Camden County residents will learn about:

  • Family Preparedness,
  • Thunderstorm Safety,
  • Tornado Safety,
  • Lightning Safety,
  • Flood Safety.
