The Strategic Plan is a five-year, outcome-based set of goals with specific issues and projects that need to be addressed by the County, all with measurable objectives.
“Through the vision and leadership of the Board of Commissioners and their commitment to future planning, Camden County can be prepared for tomorrow,” said County Administrator Steve Howard. “The short term goals and long term direction for the county are available for the citizens to review through the Strategic Plan and Action Agenda. Additionally, the plan allows county employees to fully understand our mission and to provide a high level of service.”
In December, the Board of Commissioners and county staff met to review the many accomplishments of 2020 and primarily focused on the action agenda and future direction of the County for the upcoming years ahead. The Strategic Plan and Action Agenda provide the citizens of Camden a detailed look at the short, medium, and long term priorities of the county.
This year’s strategic plan includes 18 policy actions, 15 management actions, 17 major projects, and 118 management in progress items. To view the Strategic Plan, along with the new Action Agenda items, please visit the county website at www.camdencountyga.gov.
