Camden County Welcomes New Deputy County Administrator

Seth CollinsThe Camden County Board of Commissioners is pleased to announce the hiring of Seth Collins as the Deputy County Administrator for Camden County. In this role, Mr. Collins will provide oversight to specific county departments, including Animal Control, Code Enforcement, Curbside Collections, Facilities Maintenance, Grants Management, Information Technology, Solid Waste, and Two Rivers Gun Range. 

“We are excited for Seth to join the Camden County team,” said Camden County Administrator Shawn M. Boatright. “His knowledge of the area and experience in local government make him a valuable addition to our leadership staff.”

A Camden County native, Mr. Collins, has worked for the Cenikor Foundation; the City of St. Marys, Georgia; and the City of Cairo, Georgia. However, a large portion of his career was spent as Chief Administrator for Galveston County, Texas, serving as the management executive to the County Commissioner of Precinct 1.

Mr. Collins, a Camden County High School graduate, has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Texas Tech University, a Graduate Certificate in Public Service Management from Texas A&M University, and a Bachelor’s Degree from Valdosta State University.
