The Camden County Board of Commissioners unanimously adopted the 2019-2024-2034 Strategic Plan and 2019 Action Agenda at their February 19, 2019, regular meeting. The Strategic Plan is a five-year, outcome-based set of goals with specific issues and projects that need to be addressed by the County, all with measurable objectives.
“Through the vision and leadership of the Board of Commissioners and their commitment to future planning, Camden County can be prepared for tomorrow,” said County Administrator Steve Howard. “The Strategic Plan and Action Agenda give citizens an opportunity to review the short term and long term direction of the county and allows county employees to fully understand our mission and to provide a high level of service.”
In November 2018, the Board of Commissioners and county staff met to review the many accomplishments of 2018 and primarily focused on the action agenda and future direction of the County for the upcoming years ahead. The Strategic Plan and Action Agenda provide the citizens of Camden a detailed look at the short, medium and long term priorities of the county.
