The National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) along with the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) partner to lead the nationwide EMS Week activities. With a theme of EMS Strong: Beyond the Call, 2019 is the 45th Annual National EMS Week.
Locally, members of Camden County Fire Rescue participated in a class on landing zone safety and a case review on pediatric trauma led by TraumaOne Flight Services. Additionally, the Camden Firefighters Association provided t-shirts for all paramedics and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) to wear during EMS Week, featuring the nationwide theme.
Visit the Camden County Fire Rescue Facebook and Twitter pages for more ways to recognize EMS Week.
