The Tropical Storm Warning, Storm Surge Warning, and Hurricane Watch were cancelled at 5:00 a.m. this morning. Additionally, the curfew for Camden County residents east of I-95 has been lifted.
Camden County may still experience sporadic power outages. Residents are encouraged to use caution if they find trees or limbs on roadways. Damage Reports may be called into the Dorian Hotline at 1-866-868-4351.
Hurricane Season continues until the end of November and Camden County EMA is still actively monitoring tropical activity for the remainder of the season. All Camden County residents are encouraged to sign-up for the CodeRED Emergency Notification System by visiting www.camdencountyga.gov/CodeRED or by texting “CamdenCodeRED” to 99411. Participants will be notified in the event of emergency situations or critical community alerts.
Camden County and the Cities of Kingsland, St. Marys, and Woodbine offices will re-open with regular hours on Friday, September 6, 2019.
