Camden County and the Cities of Kingsland, St. Marys, and Woodbine have joined with community partners to form the Camden County Complete Count Committee (CCC) for the 2020 Census.
Along with Camden County Chamber of Commerce, Camden County Schools, College of Coastal Georgia Camden Center, McKinney Medical Clinic, Tribune & Georgian, and the Camden Connection, local governments are working to ensure that every resident of Camden County is able to participate in the upcoming 2020 Census.
“We are fortunate to live and work in Camden County,” said Deputy County Administrator Shawn Boatright. “The way our partners are coming together to make certain that we have an accurate count is a credit to the strong leadership and civic-minded focus of our community.”
In a change from previous counts, the 2020 Census will be primarily online, but participants will be able to respond by hard copy or phone if needed. More information about the 2020 Census will be shared as Census Day, April 1, 2020, nears. Other community partners are still needed to join the CCC. If your group or organization would like more information on the 2020 Census or the local committee, please contact Claire Feazel.
