The Camden County Board of Commissioners is pleased to release the Camden County Government Guide.
This online-only, interactive guide explains the role of county government departments, Constitutional Offices, and selected regional and state-wide entities.
“This guide is a valuable tool for new members to our community,” said County Administrator Steve Howard. “New to Georgia residents may not understand the role that Constitutional Officers play in our county government and this guide helps explain the role each one plays in our community, in addition to county departments and agencies.”
The Camden County Government Guide was created by Public Affairs Intern Madison Cameron of St. Marys through the Association of County Commissioners of Georgia (ACCG) and the ACCG Civic Affairs Foundation’s Georgia County Internship Program (GCIP). Ms. Cameron, a senior at the University of North Florida majoring in Health Care Administration, worked to coordinate, format, and publish this document.
Available on the Camden County website at www.camdencountyga.gov/GovernmentGuide, this guide features a topical index that will allow users to search for terms and phrases and provides direct links to websites and contact information.
