Camden County and FAA Agree to Toll Licensing Decision Clock as Application Progresses

The Camden County Board of Commissioners and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) have agreed to toll (pause) the statutory 180-day review period for the Launch Site Operator License (LSOL) application to allow for modifications to the application.

FAA Sets Date to Release and Distribute Final Spaceport Camden EIS

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has notified Camden County, Georgia that it has set a date for the release of the Final Spaceport Camden Environmental Impact Statement (EIS).

The FAA announced today that intends to issue and distribute the Final EIS on December 16, 2019.  A record of decision is expected no earlier than thirty days after the release of the final EIS.
