Camden County Fire Rescue Receives Assistance to Firefighters Grant

The Department of Homeland Security has awarded Camden County Fire Rescue an Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG). This funding will give CCFR the opportunity to send approximately twenty (20) Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) to paramedic school.

Camden County Fire Rescue Receives Grant for Emergency Medical Technician Basic Course

The Georgia Association of Emergency Medical Services (GAEMS) has awarded Camden County Fire Rescue (CCFR) a grant to help pay for an Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT-B) course.

This program is made possible by State of Georgia funding provided through the Georgia Trauma Care Network Commission.

Camden County Receives Grant for Weather Stations

The Camden County Board of Commissioners is pleased to announce that it is a recipient of Hazard Mitigation Grant Program funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Georgia Emergency Management Agency (GEMA).

The $4,672 grant will assist in purchasing and installing six weather stations.
