1. How do I register to vote online?: The State of Georgia's Online Voter Registration System allows users to register to vote, check your registration status, or make changes to your current registration record. Visit their website at: https://registertovote.sos.ga.gov.

Bring one of these six forms of identification to vote:

Any valid state or federal government issued photo ID, including a free ID Card issued by your county registrar's office or the Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS)
A Georgia Driver's License, even if expired
Valid employee photo ID from any branch, department, agency, or entity of the U.S. Government, Georgia, or any county, municipality, board, authority or other entity of this state
Valid U.S. passport ID
Valid U.S. military photo ID
Valid tribal photo ID

3. How can I obtain a free Georgia Photo Identification card?: Visit the Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS) website to learn more about obtaining a Voter ID.

5. Who are our statewide elected officials?: The Georgia Secretary of State's office maintains a website with a list of Georgia's statewide elected state and federal officials.

6. What form of identification is required for registration?: Any valid state or federal government issued photo ID including a FREE voter ID Card issued by your county's Elections and Registration office or the Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS). A Georgia Driver's License is also accepted or a valid employee ID from any branch, department, agency or entity of the U.S. Government, Georgia, or any county, municipality, board, authority, or other entity of this state. Other acceptable forms of identification include a valid U.S. passport, valid U.S. military ID card with photo, and a valid tribal ID card with photo.
