Dr. Earl T. Martin is a board certified family practitioner who has been practicing medicine since 1977. He graduated from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in
Tampa, Florida.
After medical school Dr. Martin continued his training at the Family Practice Residency
Program at St. Vincent's Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida.
After graduation from
residency he worked for several years at a rural health clinic in southern Mississippi
where he participated in a Christian ministry called Voice of Calvary which works
for racial reconciliation. From there he and his family including his wife Hope and children
moved to Blackshear, Georgia to be closer to family.
For many years he was in private practice in Pierce County before going back to work at a rural clinic in Waycross for 5 years. Dr. Martin then spent several years working as a locum tenums physician in short term assignments around the country and a 2 year period of employment as a civilian employee of the US Army at Fort Benning so he could work beside his daughter, Cpt. Arwyn Raina, who is a physician with the US Army. Dr. Martin especially enjoys listening to his patient’s stories and trying to help solve their medical problems. He also enjoys hiking, reading, traveling and computer games.
